About the doctor and staff at Four Hooves

Dr. Jeff Pelton graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.  He completed a 1-year internship at Colorado state University before returning to California where he worked in a mixed large animal practice for 4 years.  It was there that he met his wife, Devin.  We have been living in Eugene since 2001, where Jeff has been working with both large and small animals.  Dr. Pelton has earned a reputation for providing high quality veterinary services to horses, cows, goats, sheep, llamas, and alpacas.  

Devin Robel is the clinic manager for Four Hooves.  She received her BA and MA in Psychology from Wesleyan University.  She also operates Blue Rider Farm, our small riding and training facility.  She gives lessons, trains, and sells horses  while she works toward her personal goal to compete at the Rolex 4-Star 3-Day Event.

Our philosophy on veterinary service is simple: Offer the best veterinary care possible for our patients, and be accessible and convenient for our clients.  We have state-of-the-art technology to provide accurate and complete diagnostics to ensure the highest level of performance or recovery of your animal.  Dr. Pelton is accessible, and is happy to explain exactly what is going on and answer any questions you have.  Because convience is important to us, we consider your time valuable too.  Dr. Pelton makes every effort to arrive as scheduled to your appointment.
