About Dr. Pelton

Dr. Jeff Pelton graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.  He completed a 1-year internship at Colorado State University in Large Animal Medicine and Surgery before returning to California where he worked in a mixed large animal practice for 4 years.  Jeff has been living in Eugene since 2001, and opened Four Hooves Veterinary Clinic in 2007.  Over the years, Dr. Pelton has earned a reputation for providing high quality veterinary services to horses, cows, goats, sheep, llamas, and alpacas.

 Our philosophy on veterinary service is simple:  Provide the very best veterinary care possible for our patients, respect our clients, and remain accessible and convenient.  We have state-of-the-art technology to provide accurate and complete diagnostics to ensure the highest level of performance or recovery of your animal.  Dr. Pelton is available 24/7 for emergencies and is happy to explain exactly what is going on and answer any questions you have.  Because convenience is important to us, we consider your time valuable too.  Dr. Pelton makes every effort to arrive as scheduled to your appointment.
