Here is what clients have to say about Dr. Pelton...
"Although it is probably 'all in a days work,' we just wanted you to know we really really apprieciated you staying late to patch up Calypso. I think we were both in a bit of shock the whole time, and we would've been pretty devastated if she hadn't made it. But, so far, she's improved daily and is almost back to normal. Thank you for your skill and time, and bit of magic... it means a lot. - Brian, Teri, and Calypso. (Calypso is now recovered and doing great!)"
"In September, my horse Flash stepped on a nail that penetrated deeply into his foot. I called Dr. Pelton and he pushed back his other appointments to rush over to Flash. After x-raying and treating the injury, Dr. Pelton contacted Oregon State University with his concerns about the case. They said Flash needed to be rushed to the hospital. Flash needed to have a 'street nail surgery.' The vets said this surgery was a radical procedure and had a 'guarded' prognosis. When I picked Flash up from OSU, they told me they've never had a horse leave their hospital with his injury and surgery so fast. The surgeon told me to expect him to stay there for 2-3 months; he left after 3 weeks. They said it was because the injury had been caught so fast and my vet did all the right things. When Flash left OSU, the vets wanted him to continue under my own vet's care. Four Hooves vet made space in their barn for Flash to stay until I can take him home. Dr. Pelton has made himself available to answer questions and treat Flash at all hours of the day and night, including meeting with my farrier to discuss his feet at 9 pm after working all day, which is above and beyond the call of duty. (Flash is now not only sound, but jumping 2' courses and on his way to more) - Camilla"
"Dr. Pelton,
I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help with my little mare Bailey. I really appreciate how you took care of her and answered all of my questions. I had a pony as a child, but Bailey is my first as an adult and I'm realizing all of the things I don't know. Thank you on behalf of Bailey and myself. - Amy"
