Dentistry: Advanced and routine dentistry services. We have a cordless power float, enabling us to offer the finest in dentistry with unlimited flexiblity. Dentistry can now be performed even where there is no access to electricity.
Digital Radiology: We have a direct digital x-ray unit to provide the highest quality images available, with the ultimate in convience. Images are taken and displayed in the field in a matter of moments. Just like a digital camera, multiple shots can be taken with ease until we are completely satisfied with the quality of the x-ray. Images can be burned onto a CD, and clients can retain a copy. Invaluable for serious injuries, routine lameness exams, pre-purchase exams, and consults with your farrier.
Digital Ultrasound: Our new ultrasound unit has a probe for tendon scanning and a separate reproduction probe. Both produce high quality images, providing additional information in the evaluation of lameness and breeding information.
Emergency Services: On-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency veterinary care.
Lameness Exams: With years of experience in equine lameness together with state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Pelton is able to diagnose and treat equine lameness to keep your horse at its performance best.
Pre-purchase Exams: Complete and in-depth evaluation to establish whether or not a horse will fulfull the expections of a buyer. Exams include soundness and flexion tests, eye exam, dental exam, neurological exam, and breeding soundness. X-rays and ultrasound are recommended.
Ruminant Herd Health: Custom vaccination, reproduction, and deworming programs as well as individual animal medicine and surgery.
